MAGIC TRICKS FOR KIDS AGES 7-10

"REPAIRING A CUT STRING" THE TRICK: A string is cut into two then magically put back together into one string! MATERIALS NEEDED: A piece of string at least 8 inches long, sharp scissors
"DISAPPEARING SUGAR" - A KATIE FAVORITE MAGIC TRICK THE TRICK: Pour a packet of sugar into your hand, open your hand and the sugar is gone! MATERIALS NEEDED: A packet of sugar	Click HERE to see a video of this trick performed by Katie
"MAGIC RING TRICK" THE TRICK: Have a ring appear on a rope tied between your two wrists MATERIALS NEEDED: One piece 2-3 feet of rope, 3 inch plastic or metal rings like those found at a craft store or home depot. ("O" rings)
"MULTIPLYING BALLS" - A SAVANNAH FAVORITE MAGIC TRICK THE TRICK: Make 2 balls turn into 3 right inside the volunteers hand! MATERIALS NEEDED: Three "Pom-Pom" balls - found at craft stores.
"LINKING PRETZELS" THE TRICK: Show the audience two "mini" pretzels. Throw one pretzel into the air. Catch the pretzel with the other hand and magically the two pretzels are joined together. MATERIALS NEEDED: "Mini" Pretzels
"TWO STRINGS BECOME ONE" THE TRICK: Two volunteers each hold loose ends of separate strings as you hold the other two ends. All four ends are shown to the audience as they magically "melt" together into one long string right before their eyes. MATERIALS NEEDED: White COTTON string.
"THE UNBREAKABLE TOOTHPICK" THE TRICK: Place a wooden toothpick in a cloth or handkerchief. Roll the handkerchief up and have a volunteer break the toothpick inside of the handkerchief. Unwrap the handkerchief and the toothpick is whole again! MATERIALS NEEDED: One handkerchief or cloth and a few wooden toothpicks.
"THE THREE SIDED CARD" THE TRICK: Dots on your cue card change three times in three seconds! MATERIALS NEEDED: A piece of white poster board or white cardboard, "Magic" markers.
"THE MAGIC STICK" TRICK: Reveal the chosen color on a multi colored stick MATERIALS NEEDED: a. One 1/2 inch by 6 inches lat piece of wood. You can get a scrap piece of wood at home depot and they will cut it for you at the store. b. Magic markers, crayons or paint.
